Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast holds an annual fundraiser entitled "Leading the Way Gala," a formal black-tie event.
2007
The gala was held on Oct. 18, 2007 at the Houston Hilton Post Oak. Honorees for the event were: David Mincberg and Lainie Gordon.[2]

Among the 480 guests who raised $340,000 were:
- Diana Strassman with Jeff Smisek
- Joan Wich
- Alice Randall and Rischer Randall
- State Rep. Ellen Cohen
- Anne Chao and Albert Chao

The gala was held on Oct. 6, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Honorees for the event were: Nancy Peterkin and George Peterkin Jr.. Entertainment was provided by the Richard Brown Orchestra.[3]
