As of 2009, Barbara Avery is a director on the board of directors for the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice which was founded in 1973 by clergy and lay leaders in an effort to provide interfaith support for abortion rights. As of 2009, Barbara Avery is an Eastern Region Affiliate Representative for Ohio RCRC. [1]
