As at 1975, Edmund Hillary served as a Vice President for the Abortion Law Reform Association of New Zealand.[1]
REPEAL
As at 1978, Edmund Hillary was a patron of REPEAL, a New Zealand-wide organisation that sought to repeal the CS&A Act of 1 April 1978. The organization collected 319,000 signatures for a petition that demanded the law be overturned.[2]
