In 1977 Kissling was appointed founding President of the National Abortion Federation, a position she held until 1980.[citation needed]

Catholics for Choice

From 1978 - 1982, Kissling served on the board of Catholics for a Free Choice. From 1982 until 2007, Kissling served as President of Catholics for Choice.[1]

Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice

As of 2009, Frances Kissling is a Director on the Board of Directors for the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice which was founded in 1973 by clergy and lay leaders in an effort to provide interfaith support for abortion rights. [2]

Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University

As of 2009, Frances Kissling a Retired President for Catholics for Choice at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. [2]
