Early Life & Education
Heidi Bamberg is originally from Tuscon, Arizona. She studied at Texas Woman's University in Denton, Texas before continuing with postgraduate study at the University of North Texas, also located in Denton. Here she received a Masters of Arts, studying Women's Studies, International Studies and Music.[1]
University of North Texas
From Fall 2011 - Spring 2012, Bamberg worked as a teaching fellow at the Department of Women's studies at the University of North Texas. She left this position in 2012.[2]
Planned Parenthood of North Texas
From January 2011 – May 2011, Bamberg worked as a Community Outreach Intern for Planned Parenthood of North Texas. During this time she recruited volunteers for community events and consciousness raising initiatives; coordinated activities contributing to community education, outreach, and behavioral change; participated in organizing fundraising events and luncheons with 500+ guests; coordinated and directed a lobby group advocating for women's health care.[3]
