As at 30 Dec 1998, Jane MacDonald worked as an abortionist at Parkview Clinic, Wellington [1] (this mill has now moved to Wellington Hospital and is known as the Te Mahoe Unit).
"Too Many Abortions in NZ"
In a NZ Herald article dated 30 Dec 1998, MacDonald stated,[1]
- "No one wants to be doing abortions. There will always be a need for some women to have an abortion but not at the rates that it is in this country."
Certifying Consultant
As at 11 November, 2009, MacDonald was a Certifying Consultant at the Te Mahoe Unit at Wellington Hospital. Certifying consultants have the job of approving or disapproving a mother being permitted to have her pre-born child killed by abortion.[2]
