Kirk Adams
Kirk Adams is the International Executive Vice President for the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). He is married to Planned Parenthood president, Cecile Richards.

Personal Life
A native of Springfield, Massachusetts, Adams divides his time between New York City and Washington, D.C.[1]
SEIU
In 2000, Adams worked as Chief of Staff of SEIU.
In 2007 he became Division Director of SEIU Healthcare, playing a critical role in the passage of healthcare reform
In 2010 he resumed his role as Chief of Staff under Mary Kay Henry who was elected International President of SEIU that year.
Following this, Adams served as International Vice President of SEIU's Executive Board.
In September 2011, Adams was elected as International Executive Vice President of the Service Employees International Union and leads the work of SEIU Healthcare, which represents more than one million nurses, doctors and healthcare workers across North America. A long-time organizer and political activist, Adams began organizing workers with the United Labor Unions in 1980, which in 1984 affiliated with SEIU.[1]
Campaign Manger for Ann Richards
In 1989, Adams left SEIU to run Ann Richards' successful gubernatorial campaign in Texas. He served as her political director until 1994 when Richards lost the governorship to George W. Bush.[1]
AFL-CIO
In 1997, Adams served as southern regional director and later organizing director for the AFL-CIO.[1]
