Kraus has made donations to Planned Parenthood of North Texas's Political Action Committee, the Planned Parenthood of North Texas Action Fund.[1]

Hosted Fundraiser for Obama

In October 2011, Peter Kraus and Lisa Kraus hosted a luncheon fund-raiser for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign at their northwest Dallas home that was headlined by Vice President Joe Biden.[2]

Attended White House state dinner

On October 13, 2011, Peter Kraus and Lisa Kraus were among those in attendance at a state dinner for South Korean president Lee Myung-bak, held at the White House.

Two South Texas Democrats, Reps. Charlie Gonzalez of San Antonio and Henry Cuellar of Laredo, were the only members of the state’s congressional delegation to vote in favor of the Korean free trade agreement and two other trade pacts that passed Congress overwhelming yesterday.[2]

Annie's List

As at April 19, 2012, Lisa Kraus served on the Board of Directors, and she was a member of the Dallas Texas Steering Committee for Annie's List.[3] Annie's List is an organization aiming to elect prochoice legislators in Texas.
