Education

Dammeyer received a B.S. degree in accounting from Kent State University.[1]

Professional Career

In addition to his involvement with Stericycle, Dammeyer is the President of CAC, a capital investment and management consulting company. He is also a director for Quidel, a trustee for Van Kampen Investments, and a former vice chairman of Anixter International, where he served from 1985 until February 2001. He served as managing partner of corporate investments of Equity Group Investments, L.L.C. from 1995 until June 2000. Dammeyer is an independent trustee of various Invesco funds, and served as a director of Ventana Medical Systems, Inc. and as a director of The Scripps Research Institute.[1]

Stericycle

Dammeyer has been on Stericycle's Board of Directors since 1998. He currently serves as Chairman of Stericycle's Audit Committee and is a member of the Nominating and Governance Committee.[1]

Aid to the Abortion Industry

Stericycle has chosen to work for abortion facilities to dispose of the fetal remains from abortions.[2] Stericycle’s aid allows these clinics to continue killing preborn children. Because Dammeyer makes executive decisions for the company and profits from Stericycle’s collaboration with the abortion industry, responsibility for Stericycle’s actions falls upon him.
