As at April 19, 2012, Sylvia Garcia served on the board for Annie's List.[1] Annie's List is an organization aiming to elect prochoice legislators in Texas.
Judicial Roles
Garcia served as Director and Presiding Judge of the Houston Municipal System.
Ms. Garcia served as an elected member of the Harris County Commissioner’s Court from 2003-2011, and as City Controller for the City of Houston from 1998-2003. [2]
